Mrs. Turner was born in Detroit Michigan. She currently lives in Keystone Heights. She attended St. Johns River Community College, where she received her A.A. degree, and then went on to the University of North Florida, where she received her B.A. in History Education. Mrs. Turner has been teaching for 21 years, all of them at good old Price Middle School. Her hobbies are photography, fishing and reading.

Mrs. Turner is also the director of C. H. Price's after-school program.
