Attention Alumni of C. H. Price!!!

Calling all former Razorbacks...

We Need Your Help

C. H. Price Middle School has had an after school program for 15 years. For the first ten years, the federal, state and local governments fully funded the program. For the last five years the government has helped sporadically and sparingly. The students, staff, and parents have had to fund the program themselves mostly through fund raisers and donations.

We feel our program is very worthwhile. We provide a safe and supervised environment for our students, the majority of whom are "latchkey kids." At home and unsupervised, teens are faced with many difficult choices. Our program protects Interlachen's children in the prime time that teens get into trouble. THe staff of the program is able to mentor troubled students as well as act as role models while they provide instruction in sports and other activities.

We are not asking for a handout (even though we will take donations)! We are asking for your help!

If you have any questions or can think of other ways to help, call (386) 684-2113 and ask for Principal Sandra Gilyard, Bookkeeper Irene Koenig, or Program Director Nancy Turner.

Here's what you can do to make a BIG difference to a child...

We participate in three very lucrative programs to raise money. If we could get you and your organization to make a determined effort to collect the following items, we will be forever grateful and will show our gratitude.

1. Boxtops for Education-These box tops are worth a dime apiece. In the years we have collected box tops, they have raised $2,000 for our school. The box tops can be found on General Mills cereals, Betty Crocker and Pillsbury products. Simply go through your pantry, clip the box tops and deliver them monthly to your Price contact person.

2. Campbell Soup Labels for Education-Collect these as well and send them along with the Box Tops for Education.

3. Recycle Cartridges for Kids-bring us the following items which we can turn in for cash:

-Empty inkjet cartridges

-Empty laser cartridges

-Used cell phones

-Laptops with power cords

-Palm Pilots

Once a month, your Price contact person will pick up these items as well.

4. Cash Donations-Yes, we take cash and checks which are tax deductible.

PLEASE HELP US TO KEEP OUR STUDENTS SAFE AT SCHOOL. ALL OF US, AS A TEAM, CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
