How Homework Help Works
BrainMass is a global community of graduate-level students, teachers and professionals. Our service allows students to post academic problems, from sample questions to complicated theories, in any field of study. Students will quickly receive a response in the form of a detailed explanation from a qualified Online TA (graduate student).
Receiving help is quick and simple. A student posts a problem under any one of 47 distinct fields of study. Once the question is posted to the system, an automatic email is sent to all Online TAs registered to the given field of study. Since every Online TA is screened upon registration, all are able to provide helpful explanations for posted problems in their given fields.
When the Online TA has created a detailed response to your problem, an email notification is immediately sent to the student. Upon receipt of the email, the student will be able to see the responding Online TA's credentials and track record. The receiving student must then 'pick up' the solution by clicking on the provided link.
At the time of pickup, the student rates the quality of the Online TA's solution to the homework help problem. This rating is attached to the response for future student users to see and is also used to create the cumulative rating for each Online TA in the BrainMass community. Poor ratings are an indication of customer dissatisfaction and they are sent immediately for review to our Operations Staff.
